Stamps for a postcard cost 20c. According to the Postal Service (www.usps.org) " The SMALLEST mailable size is 3 1/2 inches high, 5 inches long and must be rectangular in shape. The LARGEST mailable size is 4 1/4 inches high, 6 inches long. Postcards exceeding these dimensions are charged the letter rate of 33 cents."

Some of the suggestions below are also great way to recycle too! Carry postcards in your glove compartment or briefcase -- stamped and ready to go!
  • Save duplicates of scenic pictures you've taken and use them as post cards (cost 20c to mail). Center your mailing label on the "message" side of the post card listing your logo, address, web site. Great way to say thank you, or send reminders to clients etc. etc.

  • What did you do with last year's holiday cards? You can take the covers off any card you like and next year, have great postcards to send clients during the holidays!

  • This idea come from a Small Business Administration Class www.sba.gov. Use post cards to remind clients or business acquaintances of meeting you have scheduled with them. (Sent to me by Grover Partee, Coach from Seattle WA) Send something out like.... "looking forward to meeting you on......" and do not send out cards saying "this is a reminder"
